What is it that makes humanity special? It is not speed or strength. Even a domestic cat can outrun the fastest human, and our closest living relative, the chimpanzee, is five times stronger than we are. Various other species can live in environments that would kill us, survive nuclear blasts or even outlive us by hundreds of years. So what is it that distinguishes us?
Surely, it is our intelligence, our ability to reason, to learn and to communicate that sets us apart. That is what has enabled us to become the |
dominant species on earth, to conquer new territories from the deepest depths of the ocean to the peak of the highest mountain, to explore space, to create great works of literature, art and music and to understand the origins of the universe and of life itself.
Yet how much time do we really devote to improving the quality of our mental functioning? How much effort do we devote to finding out what our brains are really capable of? And how much time do we devote to pushing ourselves towards those limits or even beyond them? This is what we aim to do. Our courses and products are designed to focus on those areas of brain function that will enable people to improve their mental functioning and consequently as individuals and as groups to achieve peak mental performance and to start pushing at the limits of what they may be capable. |
